Columbus Families --
I hope you all are well and making it through the cold weather as best as possible -- warm days lie ahead!
I wish to share a few important dates in our school calendar as we turn our attention and energy toward the last four months of this school year.
Please note:
New kindergarten registration has begun! If you have a child (or if you know a neighbor, friend, relative) that will turn five (5) years old in 2024, please come by the main office and register for NEXT YEAR'S KINDERGARTEN CLASS! Our main office staff will help with the registration process, but please come by sooner than later.
February 28: the next Columbus Food Pantry. I don't yet know what we'll receive, but we are sure to have a wide variety of food for families and neighbors.
March 19: Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place. Please email or speak to your children's teachers about an appointment
April 6 - May 18: Saturday Soccer will begin on our beautiful soccer field once the weather becomes warm!
May 29-31: Field Days
June 6: The Columbus PTA Carnival
June 24: 5th Grade Graduation
Today the 4th grade classes performed on stage and celebrated six different traditional West African Dances reflecting the Empire of Mali! They were amazing.
So far this year, our 1st, 3rd, and 5th graders performed traditional Mexican dances, and in March and April, the kindergarten and 2nd graders will study West African dance and of course perform.

School resumes on Monday February 26th.
