Our school will be joining the Ruby Bridges Foundation in the effort to end racism and all forms of bullying by participating in Walk to School Day.
On Monday, November 14th, We are encouraging students to walk to school. Recognizing that students take buses or are driven to school from a distance, we are organizing walking opportunities for our students throughout the day. During recess, children are going to be encouraged to walk at least one lap around the perimeter of our playground. During the school day, teachers will be walking with their students around our school property. In classrooms, students and teachers will be learning about Ruby Bridges' story. On a bulletin board, our school community will post their messages about how to end racism and bullying, and how to make a difference in our world!
