Library Rules and Procedures
Absolutely NO food is permitted in the Library
The Library is intended for quiet, productive schoolwork only
Students are only permitted in the NRHS Library during their scheduled FREE and LUNCH periods
Students are required to scan their Student ID at the Library Security Desk before entering the Library
All Students enter and exit the Library through the Library Breezeway
All Students must exit the Library at the end of each period
The Independent Study Desks and seating near the bookshelves are reserved exclusively for silent, independent work
Students should return any books removed from the shelf to the Circulation Desk

The New Rochelle High School Library is a technology focused, flexible instructional space, where you can bring your class or professional development group to engage in next generation instructional activities, restructure the classroom for real-world simulations like mock-trials, put on their next performance, or screen a film.
Library Meeting Room
Fits up to 12 people
The New Rochelle High School Library Meeting Room is student and instructional team focused meeting space, with all the technology you need to build your next group project, deliver or participate in ongoing small group workshops, plan your organization's next event or fundraiser, lead your next tabletop campaign, or challenge your friends to an eSports match on the big screen using the wall-mounted Nintendo Switch Dock.
When scheduling an event below, please schedule for as many periods as your event requires. If you expect your event to flow over into another period at all, please schedule the entirety of the additional period in order to prevent scheduling conflicts.
Scheduling requests will mostly be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. To that end, please provide a few alternate dates that may work for your desired activity. One important note, is that while we are happy to host your group on a recurring basis, we may not actively schedule recurring events in advance. Our top priority is to ensure equitable access for all, which may become difficult with a group requesting many dates at once
