The New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence invites applications for its 2025-2026 Grants Program, which supports academic enrichment opportunities across the City School District of New Rochelle (CSDNR).
Applications are welcome from administrators, teachers, parents, and students. We especially encourage proposals from students and student clubs!
GRANT CRITERIA:
All projects must directly benefit CSDNR students. We prioritize proposals that are:
● Innovative and trailblazing
● Self-sustaining with measurable goals
● Broad-reaching, enriching multiple classes, teams, or schools
Please review our Grants Criteria Rubric at nredfund.org/grants for full details.
Grant Amount: Generally $1,500, but applications for any amount are welcome.
HOW TO APPLY:
1. Complete the Grant Application Form available at www.nredfund.org/grants.
Be sure to include clear goals, a detailed budget, and expected outcomes. Only
submissions that address all sections of the form will be considered complete.
2. Obtain Principal Review: Every proposal must be reviewed and approved by
the project’s building principal. Applicants are responsible for contacting their
principal and ensuring they complete the Principal’s Review Form.
DEADLINE: Applications and principal reviews must be in by 4pm, Friday, January 9,
2025. Grant awards will be announced in February.
